Indigo believes in
Expanding Access to Mental Health Services
Oklahoma does not have a licensed mental health professional in our legislature.
I'm running to change that.
At nearly every door I’ve knocked, Oklahomans in our district have brought up concerns about mental healthcare in our state. People are worried about youth mental health, high rates of substance use, incarceration and domestic violence, and the lack of mental health resources in our state (especially in rural areas).
You deserve a Representative who will bring evidence-based decision making and real world mental healthcare experience into our state legislature.
If elected, I will fight to
continue funding our crisis hotline and Department of Mental Health and Substance Use Services
increase school counselors
expand crisis training for first responders
hold insurance companies accountable for coverage of mental health services
increase preventative education programs
expand mental healthcare coverage in rural areas and strengthen the mental health workforce
After years of advocating for Oklahoma families in their hardest moments, I am ready to bring that same passion to our State Capitol and fight for you.
