Strengthening Public Schools 

Born and raised in Oklahoma, I am a proud product of our Oklahoma Public Schools.

At each door I’ve knocked, Oklahomans across all political parties have shared their worries about our education system. People in our district are tired of being 50th in education.

I’ve heard stories of teachers paying for school supplies out of their own pockets, great teachers leaving our state, families moving in search for better education for their children, and of wonderful schools going without the resources they desperately need.

If elected to be your next State Representative, I will fight to

• increase funding for our public schools

• say no to private school vouchers

• ensure public tax dollars go to public schools

• raise teacher and support staff pay

• limit class sizes

• increase targeted early education math and literacy interventions

• increase school counselors so that teachers and students have the resources they need

• make sure children in school are fed and have the nourishment they need to learn

Oklahoma students, educators, and support staff deserve better.
