Guardrails for AI and Data Centers

Throughout my campaign, I have continued to hear concerns about the use of AI and its impact on our environment.

Oklahoma could have been the first state to put guardrails in place for AI to protect the safety of children in our state. Unfortunately, the bill that was introduced stalled in the house and therefore did not pass.

If elected to be your next State Representative, I will

• vote in favor of guardrails on AI, including a moratorium on new data centers

• support legislative studies into the economic and environmental impact
  of data centers in our state

• work to limit the harmful impacts of the centers that are already in operation

• work to ensure that AI chat bots provide crisis resources to children if they are
  discussing self-harm or suicide

• vote to ban the use of images of children in AI training

• hold data centers accountable for their energy and water use

• fight for environmental and noise pollution protections

• vote to close legislative loopholes

You deserve a Representative who cares about how the rapid introduction of AI impacts your family.

Our state cannot afford to have Oklahoma legislators who are not going to fight this fight.

Elect a Representative who will stand with the people of Oklahoma and do everything to protect Oklahoma families, the land we live on, the water we drink, and the air we breathe.
